The Governance Authority for the Partnership Centre: Health System Sustainability comprises representatives of the NHMRC and each Funding Partner. It is currently chaired by Ms Annette Schmeide from the Bupa Health Foundation.
The Governance Authority provides funding and guidance to the Centre and receives reports from the Chief Investigator – Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite – on research progress and performance against milestones and budget. It meets 2-3 times per year and has the right to amend funding, funding partners and extend contractual terms as well as to review, evaluate and influence the Centre’s performance and activities periodically.
The diagram depicts the relationships between the Governance Authority, the Centre, its advisory groups and investigators.
