Biography

Professor Teede has held national and international leadership roles across health care, NGO, Academic Research, Professional Society, Government and Education settings. With formal training in leadership and Board governance, she is passionately committed to improvement in clinical care and public health. Recent and current roles include Executive Director of Monash Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre, Professor of Women’s Public Health and Director of the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University, National NHMRC Research Committee, National Health Care Committee, National Adult Medical Council, National Data Reference management and Translation Faculty committees, Cancer Council Advisory Board, Diabetes Australia Board and Clinical Advisory Committee and President of National and International Societies, Head Diabetes and Health Care Improvement lead, Monash Health. She has sat on government advisory bodies and worked with WHO and led international guidelines.
